Optional metal lower suspension holders for XB4 cars provide excess weight down low to enhance traction and stability while bringing down the cars CG.
The suspension holders function Integrated Suspension Settings (I.S.S.) which allows for fast & simple suspension system geometry setting. This XRAY concept was initially introduced within the original XB8 and now has been carried to the 1/10 scale XB4. The holders are +2mm and fit both XB4 & XB4 2WD. Set of 2 pieces.
XB4 suspension geometry could be completely adjusted using eccentric suspension bushings placed into suspension obstructs, as well as utilizing extra suspension system shims. Within the XB4 2WD, the suspension system holder is used without the back lower composite framework plate and it is mounted straight to the aluminum framework. On XB4, the suspension system owner could be mounted in 2 other ways: 1. installed on the rear reduced composite framework dish which increases roll center by +2mm. This improves the rotation of the automobile in corners. 2. with no backside lower composite chassis plate, mounted on the aluminum framework. This will be recommended for low-traction tracks.
