CNC-machined X1220 chassis made from 2.0mm Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum that is suitable for high- and very-high traction US-style songs. This chassis makes the car easier to drive, keeps more cornering speed, helping prevent traction rolling. The chassis was redesigned with a significantly narrower form that ensures the framework won't have drag in high rate corners which increases steering reaction and increases high-speed steering. The framework includes updated design associated with grooves for the graphite battery pack backstop which allows safer battery pack mounting and modification in the most frequently-used cross-chassis place. The updated design of the chassis also accommodates the brand new part link mounting system. The reduced framework design, complemented with elevated graphite bumper owner, stops framework from touching the track surface at the front end, enables increased steering and more constant control especially in high-traction conditions which results in increased off-power steering.
