  What is drifting? Imagine entering a super taut corner at a speed usually reserved for rncursing only on freeways. Due to the fact car loses it's capacity to adhere to the ground, you flick the steering wheel, sliding the end down. Smoothly using throttle and rncounter steer, your automobile tightly clips the apex of this corner in a controlled sliding motion, while keeping rate through the entire corner for an easy exit to the next part. While nearly impossible to execute by many motorists, skilled "drift" specialists can slide extremely modified vehicles with a high horsepower engines and aggressive aero packages around almost any corner in a controlled fashion. In Japan, this display of managed end sliding had originated as a dangerous street sport, gradually rnevolving into a competitive sport held only on unique songs.
